Her initial training and introduction to curly hair was at the SoHo NY Deva Curl Academy and spent the first 5 years of her career entirely focused on curly cutting. Since then Jess has created her own techniques and variations, mastering the art of sculpting and styling curly hair. She is well versed in all curl textures and densities, customizing the haircut and style with an individualistic approach. Being a Colorado native she understands all the struggles a very dry climate can create for naturally curly hair.
